About

A P2P (peer-to-peer) transaction is an instant, direct exchange of funds (bitcoin) between individuals, via a lightning wallet, without the need for traditional financial intermediaries like banks.

Orange Pages connects bitcoiners who want to sell or buy goods directly with each other. Sellers can create listings to offer items or services for sale and buyers can browse listings to find what you need. Once you find something you like, you click buy and will be provided with the contact details of your fellow bitcoiner and from there you can complete the transaction directly via your lightning wallet.

When you have completed a peer-to-peer trade with another Orange Pages user, you must provide feedback for the trade. This is a crucial element of Orange Pages, the Proof-of-Work mechanism if you will. This system ensures that Orange Pages is reputation-based, and users can make their own decisions on whether or not to trade with another user. Therefore you must provide feedback on a completed trade in order to be able to list or purchase new items.

Orange Pages supports a wide range of transactions, including buying and selling goods, paying for services, and more. However, there are some items and services that are not able to be marketed on Orange Pages. This is not to censure users or their listing but to ensure Orange Pages can remain operational now and into the future. Prohibited items include, illegal substances such as narcotics, explosives, firearms and explosives. On a positive note, more is allowed to be listed on Orange Pages that taken aboard a flight.

Use your lightning wallet to scan the QR code to sign into your account. Once signed in, select create listing, provide detailed information, upload up to 3 images, set the satoshi price, pay the lightning fee and you’re all done!

Orange Pages charges xxxxx sats per transaction. This fee is fixed and your listing can remain for sale until it’s sold.

As Orange Pages is a peer-to-peer platform, you make payment via your lightning wallet directly to the other party.

In case of disputes, we offer a dispute resolution process. Users can report issues, and our support team will mediate to reach a fair resolution. Additionally, user ratings and reviews play key a role in assessing the reputation of users.

When prompted to rate, users are presented with options: Rugged, Ok or Sweet.
In order to calculate a user's score, points values are applied to those ratings:
Rugged (1 Point)
Ok (2 Points)
Sweet (3 Points).

A user's rating is then taken as the average of all their completed ratings so far, and they are assigned status based on the following averages:
Average of 2.5 or over = Maxi
Average of 1.5 - 2.49 = Bitcoiner
Average of 1.49 or less = Shitcoiner
No completed trades yet = Nocoiner

As fellow bitcoiners, we take user privacy seriously and have considered what is the least information needed to enable transactions to take place. Using your existing lightning wallet to log in, we have built Orange Pages in a way that the only personal information necessary is your email address. Your email address is required to enable you to connect with other sellers and buyers. We don’t seek any further personal details and we will never share or sell your email address to anyone.

The rating system is based on proof of work, which in the case of Orange Pages, proof of successful sells and buys. We recommend reviewing the other user's profile, ratings, and reviews. Communicate openly with them, ask questions, and conduct due diligence before proceeding with a transaction. Trust your instincts, and if something feels off, don't hesitate to report it to us.

In most cases, transactions are binding. However, if you encounter an issue, please contact the other party and try to resolve it. If necessary, you can reach out to our support team for assistance.

You can reach our customer support team through the Contact section of Orange Pages. We're here to assist you with any questions or issues you may have.
