2. What we collect
2.1 Information you give us
Your name or display name, your email address, and the region of New Zealand you live in. Anything you put into a listing — titles, descriptions, prices, images, pick-up and delivery details, and for Services listings your business details and contact information. Anything you send us by email or through the contact form.
2.2 Information created when you use Orange Pages
When you sign in with Lightning we store the public key your wallet presents — that’s how we recognise your account next visit. We hold no password for you and there’s no password database.
We also keep a record of every trade you take part in — the item, the other party, the dates and whether it completed — with the feedback given and received and the rating that comes out of it. We keep moderation records of listings submitted, approved, declined or removed.
2.3 Information collected automatically
Your IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages you visit, the referring page, and timestamps. We use cookies to sign you in, remember whether you prefer light or dark, and understand aggregate site usage. You can block cookies in your browser, but then you won’t stay signed in.
2.4 What we do not collect
We don’t ask for or hold government ID, proof of address, date of birth, bank account details or card details. We don’t run identity checks and we don’t use anyone else to run them. We never hold your Bitcoin, your private keys or your seed phrase, and nobody at Orange Pages will ever ask you for them.
